De’Andre “HULKRILLA” Hugue is a 15-year law enforcement veteran, viral content creator, and social justice advocate using his story to bridge the gap between officers and the communities they serve. After experiencing police profiling as a young Black man, despite being a college student with three jobs, De’Andre pursued a career in law enforcement to make a difference from within.

Through his brand HULKRILLA, which stands for Humanity, Unity, Love, Knowledge, Respect, Integrity, Loyalty, Leadership, and Accountability, he uses humor, truth, and transparency to educate, uplift, and connect with millions across social media. His goal? To show the world that most officers are good people, and real change starts with action.

Why He Became a Cop

Growing up in Columbia, SC, De’Andre was profiled by police because of how he looked: dreadlocks, baggy clothes, grillz, driving a 1989 Grand Marquis on 24-inch chrome rims.
Despite being a college student working three jobs and staying out of trouble, he was repeatedly pulled over, handcuffed, and searched, all because his car was “mistakenly” flagged as stolen.

“I felt powerless. I didn’t know my rights. So I decided to become a cop to protect the innocent and hold bad officers accountable.”
